Chester, PA – The Andrew Turner Museum, at 1513 Concord Ave., Chester PA, has been in the making for many years.  The museum holds an extensive collection of Andrew Turner’s work, reflecting abstract to contemporary styles collected over several decades. The vision for the museum is to inspire youth through visual arts created by people from their own community.

A “sneak peak” of the museum was held in August in conjunction with the ‘I Can I Will’ annual Art Show & Block party.

Through fundraising efforts and community support, the museum plans to open May of 2016 creating art experiences for Chester’s youth through art creation and appreciation.

Andrew Turner was a Chester native and renowned visual artist whose art work, since his passing, is sought by art collectors from everywhere.  Many of his pieces will be on display, and some offered for sale. Other artists shown will be Benson, Barber, Bullock, Morris, Payne, Walls, West and many others.
