The Chester Charter School for the Arts is the second Chester organization serving neighborhood children that has bought into the C2 & Posse CODES4LIFE action adventure learning series of graphic novels designed for 7 to 13 year olds.

In October, the Boys and Girls Club of Chester contracted CODES4LIFE for a long term after school program, and now, the Chester Charter School for the Arts has agreed to ‘test-drive’ the learning series directly in the classrooms.

As an additional and unexpected add-on, the Chester Charter School for the Arts is having the series creator, Anthony ‘Artoni’ Fletcher, conduct graphic novel art instruction to a small group of talented artists hand picked by the faculty.

As a school dedicated to art education, it wasn’t a difficult decision for the leaders of Chester Charter School for the Arts to see a likely fit this learning program has to their core approach to learning.

There is one other Chester school taking an extended amount of time to consider CODES4LIFE for their students. Ideally, every child in Chester will be exposed to this exciting learning program which continues to prove that our children are excited to learn once they come in contact with interactive learning material with characters that looks like them and a storyline they can relate to.
