There has been very few cases of opioid addiction issues in Chester compared to the surrounding towns in Delaware County, yet, Governor Wolf designated a Chester hospital as the place to come clean. Folks from the surrounding towns aren’t shy about their reluctance to come into Chester, but this new treatment center will attract a slew of new tourist-for-treatment to our town.

“The intense cravings, detoxification, and withdrawal symptoms involved in quitting make addiction difficult to overcome. As our strategy involves both behavioral therapy and FDA-approved medication that individuals take to help curb cravings and manage withdrawal symptoms, it can improve the odds of recovery,” he noted.

Withdrawal symptoms include negative mood, nausea or vomiting, muscle aches, diarrhea, fever, and insomnia.
