Community health workers (CHWs) are people who live in your community to help to manage your health problems, in this case asthma for children. CHWs typically come into the home to provide asthma education and identify asthma triggers, like mold, cockroaches, and rodents. They will teach you how to avoid those triggers and bring free supplies to help you with that.

They are interested in hearing your ideas about how community health workers can help manage children’s’ asthma by taking this quick survey  https://upenn.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_abluXp0AXF3I0E6.

In the coming weeks, they will be reaching out to gain further insight in how to best set up this program in Chester. Also, they are still looking for applications for their community health worker position!
