C-PRIDE was in full effect at the 2021 Homecoming festivities Saturday afternoon at the A-Field, and then a football game broke out.

On a perfect day for football, Penn Wood became the 7th straight victim of Chester’s undefeated season suffering a 39-6 lopsided loss in front of one of the largest homes crowd they’ve had in years.

The win eclipsed the 1939 Chester High football team’s long standing record of a 6-0 record to start a season. Back in 1986 Chester won 10 straight games, but lost the opener.

Across the street in the parking lot, food, fun, and a lot of handshakes and hugs were exchanged by CHS alums from near and far. The non-stop music blasted from Chester’s top DJs to keep the party atmosphere going the whole time.
