This weekend is CHESTER’s HOMECOMING! This is a big celebration and opportunity to engage with Chester residents about our organization and the clean air we’re fighting for.

Volunteer with us this weekend at the CRCQL table where we’ll be handing out newsletters, inviting folks to sign petitions, and more!

WHAT: Chester Homecoming: CRCQL Table

WHEN: Saturday, October 9 from 9am to 2pm (game starts at 11)

WHERE:  1100 W 10th St, Chester PA 19013 — If you’re interested in volunteering, call Zulene @ 302-397-1804

This is a perfect opportunity for us to educate our local residents about the issue with the Covanta incinerator, show them the actions they can take, and invite them to join Chester Residents Concerned for Quality Living.

We’ll also be teaming up with the League of Women Voters at a nearby table to ensure we’re getting everyone registered to vote and remind them about the upcoming election on Tuesday, November 2!

Don’t forget:

Next Tuesday, October 12 at 7pm there is a League of Women Voters Chester City Council Candidate Forum. This is a great opportunity to learn about who is on the ballot this November 2 and what their beliefs are — especially where they stand on the Covanta trash incinerator.

Submit your questions for the candidates here

You’ll be able to stream the virtual forum on Youtube..

Also: Our regular CRCQL biweekly Thursday meeting is coming up next Thursday, October 14 @ 7pm:)

Thanks to each of you — hope to see you this weekend,
