Pennsylvania Humanities Council has officially launched PA SHARP, our $1.2 million humanities recovery and growth program. Through this initiative we will be able to offer up to $20,000 in flexible funding to organizations across the state. 

PA SHARP provides an exciting opportunity to reimagine, reinvent, and re-envision humanities work through planning, capacity building, and creative programming. We need your help getting the word out to eligible organizations in and around Chester. 

Here are some quick facts about the grant:

  • Award amount: Up to $20,000 in flexible funding for either general operating and capacity building or program support
  • Application period: 9/1/21 – 10/1/21; funds distributed in November
  • Eligibility: PA organizations with a humanities-based mission and organizations conducting humanities programming
  • No match required
  • Grantees join statewide learning/support network
