All the news reports claim COVID cases are falling across the country because vaccines are working. And then there’s place like Chester where COVID cases are still not leveling off and vaccine hesitancy and opposition is a thing.

Cases are indeed trending downward somewhat in Chester. Cases are at about 50 per week in the month of May, down from about 100 a week in April. Let’s hope June drops to 25 a week or less which will let us know more folks are getting the vaccine.

I’ve had no luck finding vaccine data for Chester City, but in Delaware County 39% of whites are fully covered versus 16% of blacks.

There are folks looking to bring more vaccine to Chester. Should we tell them to come or have we tapped out on the vaccine?
