Delaware County Historical Society (DCHS) continues to bring the history of our county to life through educational programs and events, and we are pleased to invite you to our next online engagement titled “Women’s Journey for Equal Rights” on Wednesday, April 14th at 6PM.

This free, conversation event will include Constitutional Law Professors Jim May and Alicia Kelly, both from Delaware Law School and equally instrumental in getting the state of Delaware to ratify equal rights for women.

Stefan Roots, DCHS Board member and Chester Matters writer, will serve as our moderator.

The three panelists, Dr. Merle Horowitz, Honorable Linda Cartisano and House Minority Leader for PA, Joanna McClinton will each talk about their career paths – challenges of being a woman in their various professional work arenas. This event is free and open to the public – click here to register.
