Back on March 10 when I wrote on Covid-19 cases in Chester, the story was somewhat hopeful as fewer cases were being reported to the tune of about 100 new ones every two weeks. This past week is an exception as case numbers are creeping up at a much higher rate.

Currently, Chester sits a 2477 Covid-19 cases since the pandemic started keeping count and currently sits in 4th place in Delaware County behind Upper Darby, Haverford Township and Ridley Township who Chester is now trending to overtake in a week or two.

Covid-19 hasn’t gone away. Testing is still being conducted at the Upland Armory and I imagine Sivercare Urgent Care is still testing. Click HERE to visit the Chester City Bureau of Health for more information.
