Everyday for the last 8 years I would ride by RB home and wonder why it stands seemingly well cared for yet empty. I even took time to delve into the history and followed up trying to contact someone(s) who who could tell me who is caring for it and why it is sitting empty every day. I have received no satisfactory answers. Can it be rented by an organization via Grant to care for those who are presently underserved? for distributing the vaccine? for needed health care? for on going discussions on anti-racism, poverty, violence? for day care? for temporary housing for women who were incarcerated? for ?????????????????????
It’s a shame the organization charged with managing that property is doing nothing with the buildings. I tried to work with them and it was fruitless. I applaud PennDOT for the renovation, but disappointed that PennDOT turned it back over to that group when it was clear back then they had no plans to put the building to use. Shameful.
Laffimg! I knew dat! But thanks for highlighting this Chester History treasure, it will be shown along with another gem, the story of what happened to the old Girls Y, now the Yes Ctr. Good lookin” out.

There was once a thriving organic community garden that was supported locally I wonder what happened to that and can that be brought back?
Link doesn’t work. Nothing on his site.
Nothing? I got to a live facebook page for him with the link
http://www.facebook.com/SenatorJohnKane just goes to his page, with no events. Please post your link. Tx
Same page. It probably won’t come up until the day and time of the event if it’s live
Ok. Got that. You’d think your ad would be posted to an event. Mmm. Do they really want folks to know about it?
I just pass along what they send me.
