Chester City hits another century mark of COVID-19 cases this weekend reporting 1,999 cases as of Friday. (The county doesn’t report new cases again until Monday).
It’s safe to assume at least one new case popped up in Chester today to put us over the 2,000 milestone.
We’ve been comparing our numbers with Haverford Township who had a better week than us since we last visited the numbers with just 15 new cases versus 66 new cases in Chester.
This is the tenth 7-day stretch with 100 new cases for Chester.
That means half of all the cases Chester has racked up in the last 10 months since March 2020 occurred in the last 10-weeks.

Just keep doing what you’re doing and we should be here yet again next week.
(These posts just write themselves.)

I heard Kirkland on KYW-1060 being interviewed at Belvedere Nursing home and saying how “emotional” it was that the residents were actually getting their vaccines.
I couldn’t believe he had the GUTS to show up there when they were getting their vaccines, but that this same “MAYOR” KIRKLAND WAS NOWHERE TO BE SEEN OR HEARD WHEN 150 BELVEDERE RESIDENTS DIED OF COVID-19 in 2020!
WHat a HYPOCRITE!
SO DISGUSTING!
YUCK!!
