When your city is host to a casio, it’s ironic our COVID-19 count lands on 777.

As COVID-19 keeps rising sharply in Chester, I guess we’re lucky to finally having access to testing for an unusually long period of time thanks to ChesPenn and something called StopCovid19 or Community Stop COVID at Chester City Hall.

I went to the StopCovid19 testing on Thursday but found they don’t test if it’s going to rain so I went back on Friday. There was only one car ahead of me on the drive-thru side of the building. The ladies were super friendly and thorough. They even had a guy place a big box of food in my car on my way to the lady doing the noninvasive test to the lower portion of my nostrils. Overall, it was a great experience.

The final stop is the lower nose swab thingee. It tickled.

I received my results today. It was a tad cumbersome going through all the verification and security steps on the phone, but I finally saw that I tested negative and the results were automatically sent to the county health department.

As Chester’s COVID–19 numbers continue to climb, encourage everyone you know to get tested while testing is in the city.

Started from the bottom now we’re here!
