People love to say the new thing. They love to say the words, the phrases and the sentences that let those around them know that they are keeping up to date with society’s programs and society’s approved programming.

Today people love to say “the new normal.” Sounds so chic. Sounds so informed. Sounds so woke. The new normal. Just three little words with such big meaning.

The. New. Normal.

But what does this mean? Maybe if we take the phrase one word at a time, we can figure it out.

Here we go.

The is the all-inclusive word. “The” means that there is or can be no other. The is everything.

New is an adjective that distinguishes what was from what is now. It’s not the old. It’s the new. The now.

Normal. Hm. I’m actually stuck on this one. Normal. Alright, let me take a crack at it. Gimme a minute. I’m going to look it up. Hang on…Okay. Got it.

Normal is conforming to a standard; usual, typical, or expected. Hmm. The definition says nothing about normal being “right” or even sane. That’s good I guess. Normal isn’t necessarily “right.” That means normal can be wrong. Normal can even be deadly and destructive.

Let’s see. If I were to put these three definitions together, what would I get? You try it, too.

Here’s my new definition. The new normal means “Everything now conforms.”

Everything now conforms.

Wait. Is that good? I don’t know. Sounds pretty tight. Kind of constrained. Actually, I think I hear chains and shackles.

Everything (and everyone) now conforms.

Well, I now have to ask myself: if everything and everyone now conforms, what was the process to get us to this place? Were we being conditioned towards this new conformity the whole time? (Yes.) Is this a new stage of an old plan? (Yes.)

As I’ve said to some of you before: save the childish “conspiracy theory” response. It’s childish. Really. Powerful people never invite powerless people into planning sessions. Powerless people are useless, disposable people. And oftentimes, powerless people are intentionally harmed through their lack of knowledge.

Ever heard of Edward Bernays? He was the nephew of Sigmund Freud. He was a master of propaganda. He said this:

“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of…in almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons…who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind, who harness old social forces and contrive new ways to bind and guide the world.”

Have you heard Klaus Schawb speak of how COVID can pave the way for The Great Reset? Have you ever heard of Agenda 21? No? Perhaps (if you have the discipline to read) you should research these two phrases. Maybe one day (soon) people will think it’s cool to be informed about these two concepts.

And while you’re at it, look at the YouTube video on surveillance capitalism featuring Shoshona Zuboff. It will give you another perspective on seemingly harmless kid games like Pokemon Go!

And if you’re really feeling ambitious research Andrew Wakefield and other doctors who know that the MMR vaccine adversely impacts Black boys. You’ll see some “debunker” say it’s not true. Note:  debunkers are paid to lie.

I’m willing to bet that in the new normal, Blacks will be expected to stay at the bottom of society’s well. New normal or old normal doesn’t matter. If you’re Black, expect to stay back.

Okay. You’re probably tired just thinking about reading and research. That’s enough. If the new normal is anything like the old, chances are good that most people won’t do any independent thinking. Most people won’t study. Most people will listen to professional strangers and liars without questions or resistance of any kind. They’ll just put designer masks on their faces. Shut their mouths. Bernays is right.

So then as we will see:  the more things change, the more things will stay the same.
