The Philadelphia Union enjoyed a 3-1 win over Sporting Kansas City last night to grab a semi-final spot in the MLS Is Back tourney.

There were a group of season ticket holders viewing the game on the big screen at Subaru Park in Chester, but the big social distance party was around the corner at Larimer Beer Company where about 2-dozen folks imbibed brewery fresh craft beer and dined on delicious offerings off The Munchy Machine food truck.

With a rare 3 scores in under 15-minutes, the Union put the game virtually out of hand early inciting the famous Doop-Doop-Doop chant loud enough to be heard by passers-by on Rt. 291.

#23’s name looks like the Soul Train Scramble Board

There’s talk that in addition to the two big screen TVs and one projector, there may be another projector erected on the side of the building for Wednesday night’s semi-final game just to accommodate more social distancers.

Once the game got out of hand, he became dog-tired

It’s always a blast at the Larimer.

Super fan and otherwise great guy, Jeffery Mitchell, led all cheers and kept the crowd hyped. (Thanks for the brew)
