At Crozer-Keystone Health System, the safety of our patients, visitors, workforce and physicians is our highest priority. We are working diligently to comply with the Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH)and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to respond to any potential coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in our community, to prepare for potential patient surges in our facilities, and to do our part to prevent the spread of the virus. Our hospitals, physician offices and outpatient centers are following the latest CDC and public agency guidelines and are prepared to identify, isolate and treat patients who seek care at our facilities.

What should you do if you are experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19?

For the latest information and current guidelines, call the Crozer-Keystone COVID-19 Hotline at 610-447-6730. This is an informational message that updates regularly. Please note, this hotline is not the number to call if you believe you are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms. If you are experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19, call the DOH at 1-877-724-3258.

Do not go directly to your doctor’s office, hospital emergency department or urgent care without calling them or the DOH first, to get instructions.

According to the CDC, symptoms consistent with COVID-19 include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. Emergency warning signs include difficulty breathing, persistent pain or pressure in the chest, new confusion or an inability to arouse, bluish lips or face. In the case of emergency warning signs, call 911 immediately.

Stay home if you are experiencing mild symptoms. You should restrict activities outside of your home, except for getting necessary medical care. Additionally, pay attention to federal, state and local guidelines and restrictions for gathering.

What are Crozer-Keystone’s temporary visitation policies during the pandemic?

In our emergency departments, we are asking all arriving patients about recent international travel and if they have symptoms consistent with COVID-19, such as fever, cough and/or shortness of breath.

Visitors will not be permitted in inpatient areas, unless clinically necessary as determined by the health care team.

In outpatient areas and maternity units, patients are permitted to have one support person with them. Approved visitors must pass a risk assessment screening before entry, which includes a series of questions related to travel and respiratory symptoms.

We recognize that interacting with friends and family can be helpful to the healing process, and strongly encourage everyone to use other forms of support, such as phone calls, video chats, emails, and texts. We are sensitive to the separation this restriction causes our patients and their loved ones, but we believe this measure of protection is essential at this time to keep everyone safe.

Crozer-Keystone hospitals have bedside telephones in inpatient rooms, and guest WiFi is available free of charge, to help access loved ones.

If you don’t know your loved one’s direct bedside phone line, call the main phone number at the pertinent hospital. Those main numbers are:

  • Crozer-Chester Medical Center – 610-447-2000
  • Delaware County Memorial Hospital – 610-284-8100
  • Springfield Hospital – 610-328-8700
  • Taylor Hospital – 610-595-6000
