Chester, Pa. – Widener University hospitality and tourism management students will learn the importance of ‘giving’ this holiday by serving a homemade Thanksgiving meal to Chester residents at the Salvation Army on Wednesday, Nov. 27.

The students – a mix of first-year students in an introductory course and seniors in a leadership development course – will be fundraising, buying, and preparing the annual feast. Come Wednesday, they will be ready to serve all the Thanksgiving favorites, from stuffing and macaroni and cheese to turkey and pies to give Chester residents a wonderfully memorable dining experience.
