The Lenfest North Philadelphia Workforce Initiative/Temple University presents the 13th Annual Neighborhood Job Fair taking place at Aramark STAR Complex, 1816 North 15th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19121 (corner of 15th & Montgomery Avenue, on Temple University’s main campus) on Thursday, May 16, 2019, 9AM-1PM.
It’s important that job seekers arrive on-time, dress to impress, and bring plenty resumes!
Annually, this citywide employment event typically draws thousands of job seeking adults, recent college graduates, U.S. military veterans, and skilled trade professionals from Philadelphia and the Tri-State area.
Each year, thousands of job seekers attend this massive job fair event. An onsite computer lab, provided by OIC-Philadelphia, will be set-up to allow job seekers to apply for available job openings at the event. This job fair is FREE and open to the public.
“The 13th Annual Neighborhood Job Fair will promote jobs ranging from entry level to management level opportunities! At present, we have over 80 employers confirmed, and more to be added. Gainful employment equals economic empowerment, workforce stability and upward mobility for job seekers! An on-site computer lab will be available for job seekers to apply onsite for the many jobs that our employer partners are promoting,” said Philly SHRM member Michael Robinson, Director-Community Outreach and Hiring, Temple University-Lenfest North Philadelphia Workforce Initiative. The event organizer, Shirley Moy serves as the Executive Director of the Temple University-Lenfest North Philadelphia Workforce Initiative.

Representatives from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry-Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Services will be on-site to assist job seekers with disabilities in navigating the job fair to connect with employers.
