The latest Chester Matters paper started hitting the streets yesterday on the first Friday of the month as scheduled. You can see the digital edition HERE.
A few things to look forward to in this issue:
- It’s big. 24 pages. My mom can’t complain this month that “there’s nothing in the paper.”
- Wilmington Matters has combined with Chester Matters again and has a 4 page pullout section in the middle of the paper with Wilmington stuff.
- Education is the theme with most articles focused on education.
- There’s a few new advertisers and a few new columnist I know you’ll enjoy.
And then there’s the Big Boo-Boo.
I had a bad typo on the Brother’s Restaurant ad on page 2 by typing a wrong digit on the telephone number. Devon Walls even sent the correction when he responded to the proof. Unfortunately, I sent the proof to him on Facebook Messenger. I hardly ever keep up with Messenger. I’m going to stick to real email from now on when I send out proofs. I do keep up with email. The corrected ad will appear on the digital edition by Monday.
You can always find the paper at Crozer Library on 7th and Engle and B&S Sunoco on Rt291 and Engle which I ensure stay stocked. You can find papers at other retail stores, churches, senior centers, and City Hall by mid next week while they last. If you’d like to receive papers for your establishment, leave your contact info in the comment section.
