On Monday, January 15, from 5-7 p.m. at 515 Avenue of the States, join us after your day of service, celebration, and remembrance on Martin Luther King Jr. Day for a screening of “A Chester Story,” written, directed, and produced by Chester Made Project Manager Ulysses ‘Butch’ Slaughter and Artistic Director Devon Walls. “A Chester Story” sheds extensive light on how Chester made what Chester has become.

Legendary Chester leader Joan Sudler is featured in “A Chester Story.” She is among more than 50 people interviewed for this landmark and classic tale of Chester’s Black community.
