In his 3rd year with the Brooklyn Nets, Chester’s Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is starting to take flight in the rough and tumble NBA.
All athletes experience 3 seasons: the peak, the plateau, and the ‘I’ve been passed.’ Fortunately for Rondae, his defensive skills and leadership qualities were good enough to get him to the NBA, but he’s never been known as a scorer.
Just by looking at him grow, it seems he’s finally catching up to his body after early rapid growth spurts. With access to top flight NBA training and a healthy work ethic, all the stars are lining up at just the right time for Rondae to head into his peak years as a professional athlete.
There’s nothing more frustrating for an athlete to discover that he’s peaked in high school or college and never get a shot at the big reward to play professionally. Rondae appears to be one of those guys who is blessed to have all his tools sharpen at the perfect time to enjoy a long successful career as an NBA player.
Here’s a great article from the NY Post detailing Rondae’s current campaign with the Nets.
