Avery*Sunshine brought her ‘A’ game to Harrah’s Philadelphia in Chester as the headline performer of a benefit concert to help raise funds for the Boys and Girls Club of Chester on Thursday evening.

She sang, she told stories, she acknowledged her family, and she wrapped up the show with a prayer for the city.

She and new hubby Dana on guitar filled the room with more sound than should be allowed by just two performers. No one can get enough of the beautiful singing voice of Mrs. Avery*Sunshine-White-Johnson.

The Point Blank Band opened the show with a powerful hour of professional musicianship and vocals.

Many fans enjoyed a VIP reception before the show and a few lucky ones got to take a photo with Avery*Sunshine and Dana.

On Wednesday, Avery*Sunshine’s mom, Ruth White (bottom right), invited a few close friends to join her for lunch at the Upland Diner straight from her flight to Chester.

Upon their arrival at Harrah’s, Avery*Sunshine and Dana were greeted by Janet Riley-Ford, Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Chester.
