The Widener University Small Business Development Center is offering an introductory seminar that will show you what is required for successful sales to government agencies, the process for becoming certified for government business and the resources available to assist you. The seminar will be held Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 9 – 11 a.m. at the Widener SBDC located at 1350 Edgmont Ave, Chester, Pa.

CHESTER, Pa. – Have you ever dreamed of starting your own business? The Widener University Small Business Development Center wants to help make this dream a reality. The SBDC is hosting a first steps seminar on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 9-11 a.m. at the Widener SBDC, 1350 Edgmont Ave, Chester, Pa..  

The First Step seminar will cover the building blocks of successful business ownership. Topics will include business planning, marketing, financing, assessing risk, selecting a legal structure and registering a business. This session is a prerequisite for all SBDC clients looking to start a new business.

CHESTER, Pa. – Do you need help creating or understanding your companies financials? The Widener University Small Business Development Center is here to help! The SBDC is hosting a third step financial plans seminar on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 9-11 a.m. at the Widener SBDC, 1350 Edgmont Ave, Chester, Pa.

This seminar will guide entrepreneurs through the process of creating and understanding basic financial calculations. It will address how to make reliable projections of future revenue, expenses, and how they appear on financial statements.
