The Widener University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and Media Business Authority (MBA) are proud to announce they will enter a partnership to help strengthen and retain businesses in Media, Pa.
Under the new collaboration, Media businesses can take advantage of confidential one-to-one consulting services and a series of customized educational programs and seminars that will impact their bottom-line. The partnership will be formally announced at an information session on Feb. 15, 2017 at 5 p.m. in the Parlor Room on the first floor of the Media Borough Hall, located at 301 North Jackson St., Media. The press is invited and encouraged to attend. Speakers will include:

Business owners from the Media area are encouraged to attend and learn how their businesses can benefit from this new partnership, and the available resources and services offered to them. The goal of the partnership is to empower Media businesses with the skills and resources they need to expand, grow, and prosper in 2017.
Furthermore, on March 1, at 8am at Media Borough Hall, Media business owners are invited to participate in a focus group moderated by the Widener SBDC. Information gathered at the event will be used to develop customized, high-quality, high-impact workshops for later this year. The workshops are intended to increase business productivity, help businesses rethink and redesign current business models, and tackle specific problems, all which will help increase their profitability.
