On Saturday January 14th, the Chester Charter Community School (Bionic Beasts) After School Program competed for the South East Pennsylvania First Lego League Qualifications held at the University of Pennsylvania.

Out of 39 Schools from all over the Tri-State region, the City of Chester Robotics Team brought home two trophies: 1st place Robot Performance Award, and 2nd place Champions Award.

These 7 students have taken the time to explore in the aspects of engineering and programming.

Our next qualification will be coming up soon in February and if we win again our team will be going to St. Louis for the Nationals.

It would be a great honor for these kids to be rewarded and to show them how much we Chester City rooting for them.

The team is coached by Mr. Elicio, Ms. Fuss and Ofc. J.Alvarez #307.
