Philadelphia, PA —  For the eighth year in a row, Health Partners Foundation (HPF) and Health Partners Plans (HPP) are “doing it right” in the community, making the holiday season a little brighter for underserved families in the Greater Philadelphia region. On Friday, November 18, HPF and HPP teamed up to deliver laundry baskets filled with Thanksgiving trimmings and other food items to more than 100 community members and 12 non-profit organizations, including homeless shelters and churches, that provide services to seniors, foster children and needy families.

In addition to the baskets, Mothers’ Home, a non-profit organization providing a safe haven for pregnant women in crisis, received 22 gift bags containing baby products for those living at the shelter. HPF and HPP also donated 1000 diapers, 1600 baby wipes, 1000 paper plates and utensils to Mothers’ Home, further solidifying their commitment to transform communities.
