The library is a favorite place to connect to the Internet for free using their computers. Many libraries have Wi-Fi for you to use with your own laptop, tablet or smartphone saving you mega-bytes of data.
Today’s newspaper announces that the future is here as libraries are starting to allow you to borrow laptops. No longer just limited to borrowing a book, or a music CD, or a movie DVD, or an audio book, or an e-book, or stuff on the Hoopla subscription (which I max out every month), the library gives you a week to take a laptop home and use it as you please.
This groundbreaking service allowing you to borrow a Google Chromebook is provided by the Aston (PA) library and the article says you only need a library card to qualify.
If they do it in Aston, what might stop them from doing it at the Crozer Library in Chester?
