While our best competition has come at the Chester Boys & Girls Club in which our 9th graders has played vs High School Varisty players from many of the local public and catholic schools. We feel this league in Chester has given our kids some much needed experience and competition as we prepared for the AAU regionals while this is many of our players 1 time ever playing on the Prestigious AAU level.
We pulled  at NE Phily Hs not expecting to see the whole neighborhood with hundreds of cars filled the parking lot & the neighborhood.

Once we enter the gym  took the court we felt at home with some old style Chester hoop dreams with our team playing Team Explosion coached by former St Joes Star Bernard Blunt.
With smooth shooting  6-2 combo gd Rahmaad Dejarnette , who avg  triple doubles in many of the games leading the way  his partners in crime Michael MAN-MAN Smith 5-10 a magician with the ball handled the pressure with his razzle dazzle floaters and no look passes , Then we have 5-10 muscular Jaimhy Evans who can get from 1 end of the court as fast as John Wall a fast break specialist who scores in bunches, 6’0 Brian Randolph III A quiet assassin  with quick hands can score from the 3 or drive to the hoop with either hand scoring any time he wants. Our big Men held their own Rahnel Sparks 6-
‘4 frame 6’3  Javan Graham shared time dominating the boards vs several teams that had player 6-6 -6-7, Then we had our reserves 1 of our best defenders in Jamai Springfield who defense probably made the difference in many of our games he gets in & under any body we play challenges, dives for loose and will chase you down like a dog catcher. Christian Massena a -5 8 rebounder with his toughness around the basket seems to fool others with his ability to jump and box out. We cant forget to mention  Naim Berry who sprints the floor like a deer  which end with easy baskets . 2 other players Ramir Briggs and 8th grader  Ronald Lundy Jr. both point grds fits right in with our philosophy who listens and learns
and seem to be excited to play sparingly but also shows potential in being a Chester guard in the next few years.
With our style we  received invites to play in Baltimore, New York FAMED basketball Rutgers Park  all star day in June along with several tournaments in the Phila area. In July we head to VA for the  2016 AAU National Title . Before we hit the road Fundrasing and donations   will be critical not to mention many hours of practice at Stem School along with workout at The High With John Linehan . Training with NDO Zain Shaw .
