The goal of “I Still Can’t Breathe” is to raise awareness of the struggles that the African-American community still faces today, said Chester Children’s Chorus Executive Director Kirsten Halker-Kratz.

“It is both fortunate and unfortunate that so many (incidents of violence) are captured on video for public viewing,” said John Alston. “This song is a way for the children to cope and work through their emotions.”
