Despite my efforts, I can’t get enough business owners and wanna-be business owners to check out Chester Entrepreneur Works.

Yet, Entrepreneur Works, a nonprofit organization that supports underserved entrepreneurs in the Philadelphia region, through small business training and loans, held its 14thannual Taste of Success cook-off/bake-off event on Monday, April 18th. All funds raised from Taste of Success 2016 directly support Entrepreneur Works’ small business lending, training, and guidance programs.

During that event, Entrepreneur Works honored their first class of inductees to the Entrepreneur Works Hall of Fame for their years of dedication and hard work. Their  inductees are as follows: Shelly Salamon of Fairmount Bicycles, Juan Romano of Romano’s Grocer II, Darrell A. Short of Chester City Cab Company, and Richard Wilcox of Phatso’s Bakery. Richard and Darrell operate their businesses in Chester and have received technical assistance over the years from Entrepreneur Works.
