WILKES-BARRE — Jurors got a first-hand look at the alleged riot that took place at State Correctional Institution Dallas (PA) six years ago as prosecutors on Wednesday played videos showing three inmates’ refusal to follow orders and the cell raids that followed.

Three members of the so-called Dallas six standing trial together — Andre Jacobs, 33, Duane Peter, 44, and Carrington Keys, 35 — are seen on the videos ignoring numerous commands from the officers to remove sheets and mattresses they put against their cell doors and to surrender for strip searches.

Peter, of Chester, was serving an 8½- to 17-year prison stint for third-degree murder in a 2002 case from Delaware County. He unsuccessfully sought to avoid prosecution by claiming immunity as a foreign prince and emperor of the “Moor Empires” in the dominion of Amexem.
