What message should I walk away with when a dead dog and a dead man command the same reward money? I’m trying convince myself that this is an unusual coincidence.
At the absolute minimum, either the Humane Society should lower its reward to $4,999, or the City of Chester should up their reward to $5,001.
There is no way in hell information leading to the conviction of a dead dog and a dead man should be equal.
- The Humane Society of the United States is now offering a reward of up to $5,000 — double the usual award, courtesy of a Humane Society board member — for information leading to the conviction of the responsible party or parties…. for putting a dog in a suitcase while it was apparently alive, and letting it die while it fought to escape.
- A $5,000 reward is being offered by the city of Chester to persons with information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspects involved in the murder of JayRon Shaw.
