On Friday, Chester Police and Firefighters staged their 2nd charity basketball game to raise funds for the Boys and Girls Club.

The Chester City Fire Fighters IAFF Local 1400, along with The Chester City Police FOP Lodge 19 presented a check, in the amount of $1,200.00, to the Boys and Girls Club of Chester. A Special thanks to FOP President James Nolan and Financial Secretary John Ross for offering a donation on behalf of the Chester Police FOP Lodge.

Firefighter Kevin Postlewait, along with other members from the City Firefighters union helped plan a tailgate party held at a Philadelphia Union game to raise funds. William Rigby, Vice President of the firefighters union reached out to raise funds from private donors, along with donating tickets to a Philadelphia Phillies Game that was raffled off at the tailgate party.
